NRA Basic Range Safety Officer

This course certifies the student to serve as an NRA Range Safety Officer.

Topics include:

• The Role of the Range Safety Officer
• Range Standard Operating Procedures
• Range Inspection and Range Rules
• Range Safety Briefing
• Emergency Procedures
• Firearm Stoppages and Malfunctions

The class is 6 hours long so be sure to bring a lunch.

Students receive an NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course Student Study Guide and NRA Gun Safety Rules Card.

An NRA Range Safety Officer test will be administered with a required passing grade of 90%.
